I have been at CBPA since it began. This is my third year. I have been teaching in the district for 16 years.

What is your role at CBPA?

I teach first grade at CBPA.

I like all the great students and staff at CBPA.

This is my third year at CBPA, ninth year in the district, and twelfth year overall.

I teach third grade at CBPA.

Strong math/science focus; strong environmental focus; excellent staff and wonderful students

David Ahlmann, Inquiry Specialist

How long have you been at CBPA?

This is my first year at CBPA and second year in the Anoka-Hennepin School District.

What is your role at CBPA?

I am the Inquiry Specialist here at CBPA. I teach social studies to grades K-3.

What do you like most?

I love the excitement for learning that the students have here at CBPA. I also love the environment of kindness established by the staff and students of CBPA.

How long have you been at CBPA?

This is my third year at CBPA and my 17th year in the district. 

What is your role at CBPA?

I am a Supplemental Programs teacher, and I help students in grades K-4 who need reading and math help.

What do you like most?

The friendly staff and the kids!

Deborah Dille, Music Teacher

How long have you been at CBPA?

I have been in the district since 1996 and helped open CBPA.

What is your role at CBPA?

I teach music to nearly all the students in grades 1-5. I wish I got to teach the Kindergartners as well.

What do you like most?

The kids, the staff, and the beautiful gardens.

Denise Schnabel, Curriculum Integrator 

How long have you been at CBPA?

I have been at CBPA since it began 3 years ago. In the district for 12 years, teaching grade K and 3 at Monroe, Riverview and then CBPA.

What is your role at CBPA?

I am now the Curriculum integrator and technology teacher and office out of the Nature Center.

What do you like most?

My favorite part of CBPA is of course the students themselves, and the amazing learning opportunities that our amazing teachers and additional programming are able to offer. When you put those two big pieces together, it is so gratifying to see the pride the students take in their learning, experiences, and their school!

I have been in the district for 8 years.

What is your role at CBPA?

I teach fourth grade Social Studies and Reading in the triad.

What do you like most?

I really like the friendly staff, the great administration, and all the great opportunities CBPA offers to staff and students.

This is my ninth year in the District.

What is your role at CBPA?

I work with grades 3, 4, and 5, Guided Reading with 3-5 and  team teaching, making meaning with grade 4 as well as guided reading

I teach kindergarten.

This is my second year at CBPA and my 10th in the district.

I teach third grade.

Sandy Williams, ESL Teacher

How long have you been at CBPA?

I've been teaching 36 years in Anoka-Hennepin. I have been a CBPA since it opened.

What is your role at CBPA?

I teach English as a Second Langauge (ESL) Grades K-2.

What do you like most?

Working with the students and getting the chance to see them year after year.

How long have you been at CBPA?

This is my third  year at CBPA. I started  in 1999 at Anoka-Hennepin.

What is your role at CBPA?

I am the Media Specialist for all grades.

Awesome students and staff! Promoting reading enjoyment and technology literacy.
